Sodexo Case Study for #truManchester

A few well-known commentators have rightly pointed out that one of the downsides of conferences and events is that much of the talk around social recruiting is still theory. What is needed is hard case studys, warts and all, in order to be able to present a business case and further develop understanding based on experience rather than theory.
In a field that is relatively new, and with the constant emergence of new technology, there is inevitably plenty of talk around thoughts, speculation and theory. This has a big place in working out your next moves and will form a big part of #truManchester.
The case study tracks have been added to bring real examples in to the conversation. The structure for the “case study” tracks is a 15 minute intro detailing the background, results and lessons learnt, then it is open to the attendees to question, comment and learn from real life examples.

First on the grid is from the Talent Acquisition Team at Sodexo in the U.S. Sodexo are well-known for having implemented one of the most succesful social recruiting programmes to date. This is a story you can really learn from, and you have the opportunity to ask someone that really walks the walk, as well as talks the talk. In addition, they will be hosing a track on diversity recruiting and sharing some great work they have completed recently. leading edge stuff!
